Is tarot accurate?
The short answer: tarot cannot predict the future, and there is no scientific evidence that it can. But many people still find it useful, for a different reason.

How to use it well
Use tarot as a conversation with yourself: the card is a prompt for saying aloud what you are already thinking. One card or three is enough for this.
Why it feels accurate to so many
No mechanism has been shown by which tarot could predict the future. When a reading “hits”, it is usually because it is broad enough for you to fit it to your own situation, and because we remember the hits more than the misses.
Its real value is giving you an excuse to stop, name what you are feeling and look at a situation from another side.
So do not use tarot to decide matters of health, large sums of money or the law. For those, ask someone qualified.
Daily Draw writes its readings with AI from the meanings of the cards. We treat that as a tool for reflection and entertainment, not as prophecy.
Common questions
- Then why do so many people say tarot is spot on?
- Readings are often general enough to fit many situations, and people remember the hits more than the misses. That does not make tarot worthless; it only means it is not prediction.
- Should I believe a tarot reading?
- Believe what it helps you notice about yourself, and do not believe it as a forecast. The decision is always yours.
- Does Daily Draw predict the future?
- No. Daily Draw readings are meant for reflection, and we say so on the About page.
